Creation workflows across workspace resources now support Drafts.

If you leave an unfinished workflow, Countercyclical can recognize the incomplete state and preserve your work as a draft, allowing you to switch contexts and return later without losing your progress. All saved drafts are accessible from the new Drafts tab.

Deleted workspace resources now move to Trash before permanent deletion, giving teams a recovery window before resources are permanently removed after 30 days.

We've also improved archive capabilities to make it easier to distinguish between active, archived, recoverable, and unfinished work.

You can now see custom KPIs for the industries and sectors that matter to your research process across Companies, Funds, Entities, and Investments.

We've expanded UI preferences to give you greater control over how Countercyclical is configured for your workflow.

More composable interface preferences allow users to tailor key parts of the platform around how they actually work - reducing unnecessary interface friction while preserving a consistent experience across the workspace.

Workspace Owners and Admins can now create Custom Roles, powered by our new fine-grained authorization (FGA) framework.

Instead of relying exclusively on Countercyclical's default roles, administrators can define dedicated permissions across the workspace, individual workspace resources, and nested resources.

This gives organizations significantly more control over who can see, create, modify, and manage information - particularly as teams, workflows, and governance requirements become more complex.

Report Components can now be used directly within Memos, bringing richer data visualization and analysis into your written research.

Individual Report Components can also generate shareable iframe embed codes, allowing you to bring live components into external tools and applications such as Notion.

Your analysis no longer has to live exclusively inside a report or dashboard - it can travel with the research that depends on it.

Vantage Queries are a new Report and Dashboard Component that lets you directly analyze workspace, financial, and custom data using CQL (Countercyclical Query Language) - our SQL superset with embedded expressions.

Run a query, transform the underlying information, and turn the result into a reusable Data Block.

Once created, Data Blocks can be referenced throughout reports, dashboards, and the broader workspace, allowing a single analytical output to become a reusable building block for downstream research.

Vantage Queries, Data Blocks, & CQL bring a programmable analytical vector directly into Countercyclical - helping you turn raw data into repeatable research, business, and allocation insights.

Subteams are now available on the Premium Plan.

Each Team can create up to ten Subteams, adding another layer of organizational hierarchy for firms that need to divide responsibilities across strategies, sectors, geographies, functions, or other specialized verticals.

Alongside Subteams, we've streamlined team invitation workflows. Entire teams can now be invited to workspace resources and assigned appropriate permissions together, eliminating the need to repeatedly invite and configure every user individually.

Passkeys are now available to all users on paid plans.

Passkeys provide a faster, modern authentication option that reduces reliance on traditional passwords while improving both account security and sign-in convenience.

Transcripts, Dividend, & Filings views are now fully refreshed, bringing more fundamental research data directly into every investor's workflow.

We've also substantially revamped the Filings experience. Global Financial filings content can now be viewed directly within Countercyclical (e.g. SEC Filings), with improved workflows for extracting relevant quotes and bringing source material directly into Memos.

The result is a tighter research loop: move from primary-source information to evidence, analysis, and written research without constantly switching tools.

Audit Logs can now support event streaming, giving organizations a more scalable way to consume and operationalize workspace activity.

Rather than treating audit history as something that only lives inside Countercyclical, event streaming enables organizations to incorporate audit events into their broader security, compliance, monitoring, and operational infrastructure.

This is particularly useful for enterprise teams that need continuous visibility into platform activity or want Countercyclical events to participate in existing governance and observability workflows.

Initial app load time began getting rather lengthy & large as the platform continued to grow, so there's been some behind-the-scenes tweaking that's been completed to try & improve initial load time as well as continued usage.

As with every update that's released for the platform, Countercyclical has addressed a range of bugs & added feature enhancements to help in improving performance, user experience, and overall workflow capacity for you & your team.
